Here at Quality Auto Mall, we know our customers love their Ford SUVs and trucks. That’s why we always stay on top of the latest Ford news and updates, including some recent test vehicles and trademark filings that are giving us an insight into the future of Ford. Here’s what to expect from the Ford brand in the near future.

First up, we have some interesting trademark filings for the words “Badlands” and “Adrenaline.” We’re not sure what they mean, but they could be the names of some upcoming packages. “Badlands,” for example, would be a great name for an SUV’s off-roading package. Back in 2005, the Ford SVT division released a sporty pickup called the Ford Adrenalin, so we could see a similar model soon with a similar name. Either of these trademarks could also be used for the electric, Ford Mustang-based crossover that’s coming soon. In any case, we’re excited to see what the Ford brand is up to.

As far as concrete plans go, the “Ford Baby Bronco” was recently spotted testing on an off-road trail. This model, a smaller version of the revived Ford Bronco, could essentially end up being an off-road version of the 2019 Ford Escape with similar engine options that include a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. We don’t foresee the Baby Bronco name sticking for very long, so some of our guesses for official new model names include the Ford Bronco Scout or the Ford Adventurer.
